SuperPoints is now RewardShopping!

https://www.rewardshopping.com/MyIncomeHelper

Like many of you, I was surprised when I clicked on the Superpoints shortcut on my toolbar to find out that they changed to RewardShopping!  Actually, to be honest,
my heart dropped, and I immediately thought they had went under, or gotten hacked or something!  A head's up would've been very much appreciated, especially, with what has happened in the past, right?!  My heart couldn't take that again! Whoooooeeeee!!!

Well, the AWESOME news is, NOTHING has changed except the name!!!  Just log in with your same information as normal. Everything is still there. It's all the same.  They just rerouted it to the new site. All our referrals, all our points, everything is all there.  :D

They also announced in an email that there will be some new features added to the site soon, so I am looking forward to seeing that, and hope it breathes new life into the site! It's much needed, and I think this was a great step in the right direction for them.  Not sure I'll get used to calling it RewardShopping any time soon, but we'll see.
Everything is the same as far as our accounts are concerned, but I did notice that Stumble Rewards was missing. We'll have to see if they are bringing that back, or if that is part of the new features.......possibly being replaced with something better.

Make sure you update your referral link to the new one found in the same place it's always been, on the invite page.  Old links will work for a little bit, but best to go ahead and update so you don't lose out on anyone.

Product Review of Krazilla Waterproof Sports Action Camera

I was provided this product at a discount for testing and review. All opinions and images are my own. This post may contain affiliate links. Disclosure Statement.

This is the Krazilla KZV0008 Waterproof Sports Action camera.  It is small enough
to fit in the palm of my hand.  It's very similar to the ever-popular GoPro camera, in that it is a small camera that you can wear or attach to a helmet, bike, or whatever you wish if you have the proper attachment.  It comes with helmet and bike attachment accessories as you can see in the image to the right.

The plastic case is supposed to be able to be waterproof up to 130'. I have not tested that out, and probably never will, as I do not scuba dive.  ;) The case has 2 buttons on top that are able to power on the device, as well as take images and record video. Super easy to use, as I am able to use it with one hand.  In the images below you can see the buttons on both.

I have to say, I am quite impressed with the quality of the images I've gotten from using this camera. The video and sound are also very clear, and not muffled.  The microphone does pick up a lot of noise, including wind. The lens takes images of 140° which gives a fish bowl type point of view allowing you to see more of your surroundings.  The image below shows a photo I took at the creek near my house with this camera. You can see the slight fishbowl effect. Please ignore the date, as I had not set up that data when I took the picture. This was taken in October 2015.

This next image was taken from a moving car.  Absolutely no blurring or anything, which I was quite impressed with! I did not crop, or touch up either photo at all. I wanted you to see them how they really are so you can get an idea of what to truly expect from this camera.

The camera does have an LCD viewing area, which is very helpful when recording or taking images, so you can see what you are shooting. The biggest disappointment comes from the menu.  It is not intuitive at all, and leaves a lot to be desired. I actually haven't played around with it enough to figure it all out because, quite frankly it was too irritating.  I will get around to it eventually, just haven't had the time to focus on figuring it out.

It does have micro usb and HDMI ports on the right side of the camera. This makes it easy to charge it, and also to transfer data.
And also a micro SD card slot on the left side of the camera. Unfortunately,
my micro SD card is stuck currently, and have been unable to get it out despite many
attempts!  :(

If you are looking for a GoPro style camera, but can't afford to fork out the big bucks for one, this is a great alternative! Keep an eye on the price as it fluctuates GREATLY!
I got this at a promotional discount for the review, but I actually was able to purchase it on sale a month later at a MUCH greater discount than I paid initially! So, the general public was able to purchase this item for as little as $15 just a few weeks ago!
YES, I said $15.00.  It was too much of a deal to pass up!  So, I do own 2 of these now. I wanted a backup in case anything ever happened to this one. If I could've, I would've purchased several more to give as presents to those that might appreciate such an item.

Product Review of Snug Baby Monitor

I was provided this product for free for testing and review. All opinions and images are my own. This post may contain affiliate links.  Disclosure Statement.

I just got this Snug Baby Monitor a few weeks ago, and we are loving it!  Mind you,
we don't have a baby at all.  Well, not a human baby, we have a puppy named Bailey.
I have been wanting to get a monitor so that I can keep an eye on my elderly father who has dementia, diabetes and high blood pressure.  He lives here with me, and when I need to leave the house to run errands, I always worry if he doesn't come with me, because he tends to not make logical decisions, and I always wonder what he is up to.
This way, I can keep an eye on him, and my dog.

Not only can I keep an eye on them, but I can talk to them through my cell phone since it is connected wirelessly to the camera!  Awesome!  The sound quality is super clear, just as if I was standing right there talking to them.

This monitor was a lot easier to set up than another one I have. I've never been able to connect the other one wirelessly, and this one was pretty easy. I did have to delete it from my phone 3 times before it "took", but other than that, it was a breeze.

The box, the booklet, and the monitor itself all have QR codes on them that you can scan, and that makes it all so much easier to set up.  I didn't have to type in anything except the password which is included on the unit and the instructions.

As soon as it was connected, I was able to disconnect the cords, and move it anywhere around the house I wanted to. I love that, because there might be times I want to move it to a different area of the house.

If you are looking for a monitor for any indoor use, I highly recommend this one. Easy to use, quiet, and great images. Even the infrared images and video are clear and easy to see.  I'm very happy with it, and would definitely purchase more whenever I am able to, to put in other areas of the house.

Product Review of Pratico Kitchen's IceCubby Holder

I was provided this product for free in exchange for my honest review. All opinion and images are my own. This post may contain affiliate links. Disclosure statement.

Do you need a place to store your large ice spheres/balls or cubes? I know I do! Pratico Kitchen comes to the rescue!  They have come out with a storage bin called their IceCubby Holder. It can hold 4 of the large size spheres 2.5" or the square cubes 2.25" at a time. If you have the smaller spheres, I can put 2 side by side in there, and fit about 10 at a time in this ice holder.

I have been storing mine in quart size freezer bags, and while that works, it is much nicer to have them in a storage container like this one. They stay fresh, no more freezer taste either.  You know what I'm talking about. That stale freezer taste that isn't so pleasant. Blech!

In the photo below, you can see ones I've transferred from a storage bag, and how they are a little misshapen, and have added ice crystals on them.

In case you are wondering what in the world these spheres I made, have in them, the first one has chia seeds, the second and fourth both have chia seeds with a liquid supplement called chloroxygen, and the third one is orange juice with chia. They are all delicious, and a different way to get some chia in my diet.  :)

Now that I have this ice holder , I can keep 4 in this, while I make 4 more in the ice sphere molds. Still, I'd love for them to create a larger one that holds at least 8 at a time. Maybe even more, as I'd love to make these on a much larger scale.

You can use this container for other things if you wish.  It is BPA Free, Food Grade Silicone, and has no noticeable odor at all. This is important to me since I have chemical sensitivities, and was pleasantly surprised that this is odor free.  It is silicone, the whole thing, so it is completely flexible if that matters to you.  It might if you want to do what I'm doing right now, and creating an ice log, lol.  Yep!  I just had to try it, and will post photos when I finish it.  I think you also might be able to use jello in it to make a jello log. Of course, it will be flat on one side, but that makes it easier to cut!  :)

If you don't have any of their other products, you might want to check them out. They have a nice selection of kitchen items at their website PraticoGoods.  Stop in and take a look if you have a few moments.  Picnic blankets, bamboo cutting board, silicone items for the kitchen, dry bags etc.  If you don't have any ice spheres, and aren't familiar with them, you might want to read this.

Product Review of Pratico Kitchen's Bamboo Cutting Board

I was provided this product for free in exchange for my honest review. All opinions and images are my own. This post may contain affiliate links.  Disclosure Statement.
http://amzn.to/1Sx28b1

This is one item I've been needing for quite some time. So, when I was given the opportunity to test and review it, I jumped on it! When I ordered it I saw the dimensions, but I guess I didn't pay much attention to them, because when it came I couldn't believe how big it really is! This thing is huge....big enough to put my 17" laptop on if I wanted to, as it's 18" wide!

It has a flat side and the other side has a nice deep groove in it for liquid to have a place to go other than your counter or whatever surface you are using it on. That's quite helpful, as I've been using a glass top cutting board for awhile. My thinking with glass was that it was more sanitary than wood, and would last longer. However, I can't stand the way my knife sounds against the glass, it has no drip tray, and it dulls my knives.

Besides the fact that this bamboo cutting board from Pratico is huge, has a deep juice groove, it also is toxin free! That is a nice added plus, because a lot of cutting boards have stains or varnishes on them that are not voc free, are full of toxins that not only smell, but also can leach into any food that is placed on it. No worries with that here. It also has natural anti-bacterial properties as well, which makes me feel a lot safer about using a wooden item in my kitchen.

This board is made from moso bamboo, and I have other products made from moso, and they are beautiful, and are great quality. So, I am sure this board will last many years. Speaking of that, Pratico Kitchen has a "no hassle lifetime warranty". So should anything ever go wrong with this board, or I am not satisfied, I don't have to worry about it.

Some may not realize this, but bamboo is actually not wood, but a wood-like product. It is from the grass family, but has properties of wood. However, the sustainability of bamboo is an enormous benefit. There are over 1500 types of bamboo, but Moso is one of the fastest growing plants in the world. It grows almost 20 inches per day with an average final height of approximately 60-70 feet. Because each pole has several shoots that grow from it, it self-propogates, creating new poles every year. There is no deforestation, as when they harvest annually, they typically keep 20-25% of the bamboo to continue to grow. It reaches it's full maturity around 4-5 years of age.....meaning that is how long it takes for the pole to reach the hardness density of hardwood. Oak takes at least 50+ years to mature which is why it's so costly. Bamboo products help our environment, and create much stronger products for us to use in our homes. Whenever I am able, and have the opportunity to purchase a bamboo product, I do. If you are in the market for a new cutting board, or possibly a gift for someone, take a look at this one.

Self-Coiling Bike Lock Product Review from Alaska Bear Inc.

I was provided this bike lock from Alaska Bear Inc for free in exchange for my honest review. All opinions and images are my own. This post may contain affiliate links. Disclosure statement.

This bike lock I received from Alaska Bear Inc is much more sturdy than I anticipated. It is a heavy duty combination lock, and the cable inside is completely encased in a thick, clear vinyl covering.  I like that, because so many times the cable covering is left open at the ends, and it quickly gets dirt, rust or bugs inside.

It also comes with a bike seat attachment, that is super easy to put on. Just pull apart the attachment and it will close around the seat pole. Put the screw in the hole to attach it and secure with the nut. Slide in the tab on the lock, and it will snap into place. Press the red button if you want to release it.
Images below show the cable sealed inside the vinyl covering, and how to attach the lock to the bike seat attachment.

I am quite impressed with the quality of this bike lock. It is better than others I've had, and I like that it is a combination lock so I don't have to worry about losing a key.
The lock is easy to set a new combination code.  It is preset to 0000 when it arrives.
The instructions did not come in English with this shipment, but I have been informed they are correcting that situation. In any case, it only took me a few minutes to figure out how to change the code to one of my own. If anyone else needs the instructions I put some together below:

It's very easy to change the code, and I love that this bike lock, also self-coils. No long cable or chain dragging or hanging. It just coils up on its own, and with a 4' cable, that sure is handy! You can use it for just about anything that needs locked up. Lawn mowers, canoes, sheds, rafts, whatever you can think to use it for.

If you are in the market for a 4' cable with a lock, I think you'll be quite happy with this one. If you want to read other reviews on it, or research it further, just click on this link.

Travel Pet Bowls by ForDogPremium Product Review

I was given the opportunity to test these Travel Pet Bowls at a discount by ForDogPremium. This post may also contain affiliate links. Disclosure Statement.

As someone who has had pets most of her life, there have been many times I wish I had some travel bowls. These Travel Pet Bowls by ForDogPremium are so handy! They are all the same size, and are made for small to medium sized dogs. The measurements are 5" wide x 2" deep, and collapse to half an inch when folded up. They are simple to use, as you just push in on them. I found that you can do that either direction too, so there's no wrong way to use them! As you can see in the image above, the bowls don't even have to be 2" deep if you don't need or want that much room.

Another great feature is that they can completely collapse! That means, they are super easy, and convenient to take anywhere.  They also have a little heart shaped cut out on the tabs so you can hang them if you want to, or clip them to the outside of a backpack if needed.

Another cool feature I found, is that they can even hold a curved shape if you need them to.

My pup took to them right away. :) They have no odor at all, which is great, cause he really dislikes the smell of rubber, and will avoid it at all costs.

He wasn't done eating his food, so I emptied the bowl with water in it, and put it on top of the bowl with the food, and they fit. Not air tight probably, but snug enough that I don't think ants would've been able to get in and have a picnic.

It's the time of year when the weather is so nice, and we love to be outside. We have two huge maple trees that our friends, family and neighbors love to sit out under, and our pup loves to be out there with us. We go on lots of walks, car rides, camping, and to the parks, so these will really come in handy to take with us anywhere.  Oh, and because these are made from food grade silicone, you could even freeze some water or coconut water in them if you are going to be outside. Makes a great treat for your pet on a hot day! *If you use coconut water, make sure you use 100% coconut water, and not the kind that has added sugar.

I almost forgot to mention, one thing I was impressed with, and frankly was a bit concerned with because they are lightweight, is whether they would hold up on a windy day.  I am happy to say that they do, and THEY DID!  The day I took these photos, it was a super windy day here, and they never budged at all, even when empty. So, they are a good weight, and I'm very pleased with them.

The bowls, are nestable, collapsible, and are made from 100% food grade silicone. They are BPA free, dishwasher safe, come with a 1 year 100% money back guarantee, and a welcome item in our household. All communication I've had with this company has been handled very professional, and they are quick to answer any questions.
If you are looking for a new set of bowls or travel bowls for your pets, I recommend giving these a try.  If you click on the image below, it will take you to the Amazon page to read more information about them, and see what other people have to say as well.
