I am very sorry to announce that On April 3, 2013 $1FreeDollar closed up shop. It's always a bummer to see another great site go away. I won every month, but one. Several of my referrals won too, however, only one ever claimed their winnings. I kept hoping maybe they would start back up, but it's been a few months now so, it doesn't look promising. I do hope they can figure out a way to bring it back though!
I'm wondering if it might have been created to drum up some members for their main site IGC or Instant Gift Cards. If you are into GPT (Get Paid To) sites, you might want to check them out as they are still going strong after a couple of years. They have great customer service if you have any questions or concerns. They also pay on time and you only need 100 points to cash out, which is equal to $1. I'll be doing a separate post on that site though.
So, farewell $1FreeDollar, you were so young at just 13 months old. You were fun, unique and you are greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of being a part of your site.

Referral WON $1FreeDollar After 1 DAY!
I realize this is my 3rd post in a row on $1FreeDollar, but I had to share the great news! CONGRATULATIONS to Referral SHEILA H! You are today's $1FreeDollar WINNER! Make sure you claim your winnings before 7 days go by or you will lose it and it will get reassigned to another member. The "you have claimed your winnings" and "Payouts" boxes above are from my personal sign in page on $1FreeDollar, so those are in reference to my personal account. This is just a screenshot of what I see when I am logged in. I edited my screenshot for Sheila H. in hopes she sees this and claims her winnings ASAP.
In the image below, you will see 3 names at the bottom of the list where they didn't claim their winnings and they were reassigned. There is also a winner on the site earlier this week who didn't claim theirs yet. They still have 3 more days to claim it or they lose it. Congratulations again Sheila H. and don't forget to put your name back on the list in one month for your chance to win again. I've won twice now, 2 months in a row so, it IS possible. :)

$1FreeDollar Update: Was it Too Good To Be True?
A month ago I wrote a post about this new site called $1FreeDollar. In it, I shared that I had won shortly after joining and I said I'd post the check from $1FreeDollar after I received it and here it is:
It's definitely a legit site and super easy to join, especially, if you connect through Facebook. Now, a week had passed and my check status still said "Processing" so I did end up contacting them through their contact form on the site to ask about the status of my check. Not sure if it was a coincidence or not, but my check was processed the very same day within an hour of my inquiry. I also received an email apologizing for the delay. It was very professional and courteous and very much appreciated. I received it in the mail on the 22nd of December, just a few days after the email stating it had been sent. The check was post-dated for the 24th and I was able to cash it with no problems at all.
